Provide feedback over all the designs that have been made, and where UX has been skipped for some reason.
Loyalty Cloud is a software solution for marketers who work in the retail business. With the help of this program, they can easily start campaigns and link them to vouchers and mailings. Vouchers can be received by consumers when they earn a certain number of points and can be returned when using the vouchers. Depending on how the marketer sets this up, can take place both online and offline. The marketer also has the option to view insights and customer data. This allows them to analyze the user behavior of their customers at all times and to respond to those needs.
problem statement
The design was already done when they asked me if I could take a "quick look" at it before releasing it, because "I'm a UX'er." The joke of it is that the front-end developer had already built it, so they had to do it all over again when my research or findings came in... Not something the project manager had in mind I suppose, but these things happen more often than you'd think.
project goals
Compare frontend and design and see what is missing.
Find out if we forgot some important elements in the design.
Check the overall flow of the website and the app.
approach
Since the design has already been outsourced, I have resolved to record my findings and feedback in a document. This will save me a lot of time and will be easier for the frontend developer to fix.
research methodes
Check new designs on overall user experience, based on analytics as well
Check user flow

learnings
Too often I've seen UX not get the credits they should. Such is the case with this project. For me, as a UX professional, it's less work than it probably is for a frontend or backend developer. The mindset of "Squeeze a UX professional in the middle of the project and we're good to go!" is something you should always try to avoid. It just saves you a lot of time and frustration if you involve UX from the beginning. I would definitely try to get involved earlier in the process if I know something new is coming up.
